Job summary

CHI Health in Lincoln, NE is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or LPN to join our care team, providing direct patient support, comprehensive screenings, and coordination for diverse populations.

You will assist with clinical procedures, health education, specimen collection, and coordination of care while maintaining compassionate, patient-centered interactions in a fast-paced clinic environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN or CMA license allowing you to practice in our state
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN) or Medical Assistant
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Responsibilities

• Performs general patient care following established clinic workflows
• Greets and prepares patients for the health care provider by obtaining and recording vital signs, reviewing drug allergies and current medications, completing applicable screening questionnaires and documenting reason for visit
• Collects and prepares ordered specimens for laboratory analysis
• Prepares and provides ordered medications and/or vaccines to patients
• Cleans and sterilizes instruments
• Ensures patient exam rooms are stocked, clean, and orderly
