Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our Cardiology team. The selected provider will work closely with cardiologists, APNs, nurses, and other clinicians to evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiac conditions across the continuum of care.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
• Current FL PA or NP license.
• APRN or PA certification.
• BLS/ACLS certification.

• Conduct comprehensive Cardiac assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
• Manage chronic conditions.
• Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians.
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
• Participate in care coordination with other providers and specialties.
• Document patient encounters in the EMR.
• Stress test supervision and other clinical tasks.
• Maintain compliance with policies and regulatory guidelines.

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing Cardiology team. Enjoy working in a highly collaborative environment alongside cardiologists, Advanced Practice Providers, nurses, and other interdisciplinary team members. The NP or PA is responsible for the evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, education, and ongoing management of patients with cardiac conditions across the continuum of care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive Cardiac assessments including history, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
• Manage chronic conditions
• Evaluate and triage new patient referrals and follow-up visits.
• Order and interpret laboratory studies, diagnostic testing
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with collaborating physicians
• Provide patient education on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and medication management
• Participate in care coordination with other providers and specialties.
• Document all patient encounters thoroughly and accurately in the Electronic Medical Record
• Other responsibilities include stress test supervision, clinical related tasks and patient messaging.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies, regulatory guidelines, and best practice standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
• National Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Certification (APRN) OR national board certification as a Physician Assistant.
• Current Physician Assistant or APRN license in the State of Florida.
• BLS/ACLS

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Epic Electronic Medical Record
• Previous experience in Cardiology preferred.
