Job summary

AdventHealth in Wesley Chapel, FL is seeking an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (Cardiology) to join the medical care management team. The ARNP may diagnose, plan and implement treatment in collaboration with the supervising Cardiologist, primarily in the outpatient Cardiology practice.

The role requires MSN and Florida APRN licensure with ACLS certification; weekend/evening coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• MSN required for APRN role.
• Cardiology experience as an APRN preferred.
• ACLS certification and Florida APRN licensure required.

Responsibilities

• Provide services similar to those of a physician.
• Examine patients, take histories, maintain records, and prescribe medications.
• See patients in outpatient cardiology practice and assist with procedures.
• Read ECGs and interpret test results, coordinating with the Cardiologist.
• Develop and implement patient management plans and follow-up care.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain professional documentation.

Education

MSN (Master’s of Nursing)

1+ years Cardiology experience as an APRN
