Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston, FL is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Cardiology team. This full-time position focuses on advanced structural heart care, including coordination with surgeons, interventional cardiologists and device specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care.

The ideal candidate will be licensed as an APRN or PA, possess strong teamwork skills, and be committed to clinical excellence and patient education across all stages of care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an A.R.C. approved Physician Assistant Program.
• Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies and/or higher.
• MSN required within 3 years for APRN hires.

Responsibilities

• Receive and review patient referrals for appropriateness, reviewing with an attending provider as needed.
• Establish contact with patient/family and explain process and work-up.
• Perform functional assessments and frailty testing.
• Participate in development of treatment plan and patient education.
• Be available to patients and families through all stages of care.
• Assist in follow-up visits and coordination per registry requirements.
• Flexibility to adapt to new technologies and procedures (TAVR, TMVR, MitraClip, etc.).
• Upload required data to appropriate vendor and maintain communication with device representatives.
