Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• Enrolled in an accredited nursing program or have a health-care/ sciences degree.
• Experience in inpatient/rehab/LTC under RN supervision is acceptable.
• Basic life support certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately schedules radiology tests and prepares specimens per policy.
• Assists physicians and nurses with procedures and examinations.
• Coordinates patient care with the health care team and documents history elements.
• Maintains medical records and ensures required documentation is available.
• Greet patients, register, schedule, pre-certify tests, and process coverage forms.
• Performs vital signs and basic screening; maintains clinic rooms and supplies.
