Job summary

Duke Triangle Heart Associates in Durham, NC seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to join its cardiology team. The APP will primarily support the Hillandale Road clinic, with rotation to Riverview and Cary Waverly locations as needed.

You will collect data, conduct exams, order labs and provide direct patient care to general cardiology patients. The role requires NP or PA credentials with relevant experience; ACLS and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s in Nursing from an accredited NP program.
• Physician Assistants: Accredited PA program; Bachelor's required; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories and conduct physical exams; write progress notes and develop therapeutic plans.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures; order labs and imaging as needed.
• Coordinate care across Duke Cardiology locations and supervise team members as appropriate.
• Teach physician assistant students in cardiology techniques.

Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree in Nursing
