Job summary

We are seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Duke Health Center Arringdon clinic in Morrisville, NC. This APP delivers specialized cardiac electrophysiology care and collaborates with physicians, cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and other APPs to provide evidence-based patient care.

Responsibilities include arrhythmia evaluation, pacemaker/ICD management, electrophysiology procedures, data collection, and ordering diagnostic studies.

Qualifications

• Education requirements per role: NP with MS in nursing or PA with bachelor’s (master’s preferred).
• BLS required for both roles.
• DEA license with full prescriptive authority required.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, perform physicals, and document in the medical record.
• Order labs and diagnostic procedures as needed.
• Pacemaker/ICD interrogation and programming with proper documentation.
• Prescribe medications and monitor antiarrhythmic therapies.
• Collaborate with attending physicians and other APPs in cardiac care.
