Responsibilities include patient histories, examinations, and treatment planning under the guidance of supervising cardiologists. Candidates should be board certified and possess strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills. Qualifications

• Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA.
• Licensed in Texas or ability to obtain.
• Experience in an outpatient setting preferred.
• Call requirements: 12 weekends per year
• Office hours: Mon-Thurs 8-5, Friday 8-4:30
• Start date: ASAP
• Licensed in the state of Texas
• The APP is responsible for obtaining patient histories and performing examinations, ordering testing and developing a treatment plan, monitoring the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, and providing patient education under the direction/supervision of the supervising cardiologist
• The candidate should have a strong background in EHR as well as possess high-level organizational and communication skills

Job Summary

Austin Heart would like to recruit an advanced practice provider to join the largest cardiology group in Central Texas, in Harker Heights, TX.

Qualified Candidates

• Board certified ACNP, FNP or PA
• Licensed in the state of Texas or ability to obtain
• Practicing at the Harker Heights office with two interventional cardiologists and one non-invasive cardiologist; may include outreach locations such as Lampasas, TX
• Call requirements: 12 weekends per year
