Job summary

US Heart & Vascular in Frisco, TX is seeking an APP to join our interventional cardiology team. You’ll work closely with the Cardiologist and independently manage patient care for procedures in this specialty.

Requirements include a MSN; graduate of accredited NP/PA program; Texas license (or willingness to obtain); DEA; BLS/ACLS; at least two years in cardiology; primarily outpatient with some inpatient rounding; Day shift; travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing; graduate of accredited NP/PA program.
• Active Texas license (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid DEA license and current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).

About the Role

As an APP in the specialized field of interventional cardiology, you’ll work closely with our Cardiologist and also independently manage patient care, guiding and educating patients regarding various procedures within this unique cardiology specialty.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: At least two years in cardiology; prior APP experience preferred.
• Setting: Primarily outpatient with some inpatient rounding as needed—strong outpatient experience is ideal.
• Education: Master’s degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Licensure: Active Texas license (or willingness to obtain).
• Certifications: Valid DEA license and current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
