Job summary

US Heart & Vascular in Fort Worth is seeking a Full-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to support a physician-led cardiology practice specializing in general cardiology and vascular health. The ideal candidate will manage patient care, supporting both outpatient settings while collaborating with cardiologists.

This position requires a Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program and experience in cardiology is preferred. Comprehensive benefits including CME allowance and no weekend shifts are part of the offer.

Overview

US Heart and Vascular, in partnership with Fort Worth Heart, is offering a full-time role for a dedicated Advanced Practice Provider (APP). This position supports our highly respected physician-led cardiology practice, focusing exclusively on several subspecialities of cardiology including general cardiology, EP, and vascular.

Responsibilities

As an APP in Cardiology, you’ll work closely with our cardiologists and independently manage patient care, guiding and educating patients throughout their visits.

Qualifications

• At least two years in cardiology; prior APP experience preferred but not required. New graduates will be considered.
• Primarily outpatient setting - strong outpatient experience is ideal.
• Master’s degree in nursing; graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• Active Texas license (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid DEA license and current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA).
• In-depth cardiovascular assessment expertise and exceptional patient care skills.
• Proficiency with EKGs, patient assessments, and comprehensive cardiology management.
• Collaborative team member with the ability to work independently.
