Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients by performing comprehensive or focused physical exams and histories.
• Orders and interprets labs and diagnostic tests to assess health needs.
• Prescribes medications and therapies and follows approved protocols.
• Develops and implements patient treatment plans with physicians and team.
• Counsels patients and families on treatment plans, medications, nutrition and health promotion.
• Maintains accurate patient records and initiates referrals when needed.
• Provides consultation for conditions related to the provider's specialty.
• Manages patients in inpatient, ED, or other care settings.
