Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC seeks a Cardiologist for a full-time role at a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital in Southwest Georgia. The position supports both non-invasive and invasive cardiology, with a Monday–Friday 8 AM–5 PM schedule and a mix of clinic and cath lab duties.

Clinicians will manage 14–20 patients daily in the clinic, and call is required 7 days per month, shared with colleagues with extra pay for additional calls.

Qualifications

• Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board certification eligible, with requirement to obtain certification within 5 years if eligible.
• Hold a Georgia Medical License or participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.

Responsibilities

• Balance clinic and cath lab duties (8 AM–5 PM, Monday–Friday).
• Manage 14–20 patients daily in the clinic; hospital patient numbers vary.
• Share call duties (7 days per month) with fellow cardiologists; additional pay for extra calls.
• Mentor medical students and residents.
• Provide ECG, echocardiograms, TEE, and other cardiovascular procedures as listed.
