Job summary

Southwest Georgia hospital is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join a dynamic healthcare team. We welcome both non-invasive and invasive specialists to provide comprehensive cardiac care in a 155-bed teaching facility.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule 8 AM–5 PM with balanced clinic and cath-lab duties, 14–20 daily clinic patients, and a 7-day-per-month call rotation with additional pay for extra calls. Mentoring students and residents is offered.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiology; certification within 5 years if eligible.
• Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Licensure Compact.
• Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship.
• Availability for 7 days per month call rotation.

Procedures and Diagnostic Services Offered:

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship.
• Board-certified or board certification eligible, with a requirement to obtain certification within 5 years if eligible.
• Hold a Georgia Medical License or participate in the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
