Job summary

United Future is seeking a Cardiologist to join a dynamic team in Southwest Georgia. The role supports both invasive and non-invasive cardiology with a balanced schedule of clinic and cath lab duties.

The candidate will manage 14-20 clinic patients daily and participate in call coverage 7 days per month, with additional pay for extra calls. Mentorship of medical students and residents is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Completion or ongoing completion of cardiology fellowship.
• Board-certified or eligible; must obtain certification within 5 years if eligible.
• Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact.
• Willing to work in both invasive and non-invasive cardiology settings.

Responsibilities

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a full-time Cardiologist in the heart of Southwest Georgia. This opportunity invites a dedicated professional to work in a 155-bed community-based teaching hospital renowned for its commitment to medical excellence and patient care.

Position Highlights:

• Role: We are seeking both non-invasive and invasive general cardiologists.
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, with balanced clinic and cath lab duties.
• Patient Load: Manage 14-20 patients daily in the clinic; hospital patient numbers vary.
• Call Duty: Required 7 days per month, shared with fellow cardiologists; additional pay for extra calls.

Procedures and Diagnostic Services Offered:

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship.
