Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a per diem general cardiologist to provide evening and weekend call coverage at Exeter Hospital, a 100-bed community facility with general and interventional cardiology services.

The candidate should be board-certified or board-eligible, hold an MD or DO, and possess an unrestricted NH license, a current DEA certificate, and CPR with AED within 6 months of hire. Compensation is based on a base hourly wage as outlined.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in general cardiology.
• Completion of internship and residency (fellowship if applicable).
• Unrestricted license to practice in New Hampshire.
• Current DEA certificate.
• CPR with AED within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates the ability to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate patient care appropriate to the age of patient served.
• Provide inpatient consultation and rounding; respond to communications from referring providers and patients; document conversations.
• Interpret echocardiograms, proctoring and interpretation of treadmill tests, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress tests.
