The Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine seeks a board-certified/board-eligible Cardiologist with advanced training in multimodality cardiovascular imaging. This full-time faculty position provides imaging expertise at Baylor St.

Luke's Medical Center and BCM ambulatory locations. Clinical duties focus on echocardiography, CT, and MRI, with a distribution of approximately four imaging days per week and duties in teaching, research, and clinical service.

Qualifications

• MD/DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of ACGME Internal Medicine Residency
• Completion of ACGME Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship
• Completion of advanced fellowship in Cardiovascular Imaging (Echocardiography, Cardiac CT or Cardiac MRI)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM)
• Eligible for unrestricted Texas medical licensure
• Level III training and competency in Echocardiography
• Level III training in advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging (Cardiac CT/MRI)
• Eligibility for or achievement of NBE, SCCT Level III, or SCMR Level III certifications

Responsibilities

• Clinical responsibilities total 0.90 FTE focusing on multimodality cardiovascular imaging and outpatient cardiology practice.
• Provide advanced cardiovascular imaging services (echo, CT, MRI) at Baylor St. Luke's and BCM locations.
• Dedicate ~4 imaging days per week; 1 day in Echocardiography Lab and 3 days in Advanced Cardiac Imaging.
• Interpret and supervise TTE/TEE/stress echo, CT and MRI studies; support inpatient and outpatient imaging services.
• Engage in teaching (fellows, residents, students, APPs), research, and institutional committees.
