Wellstar Health System is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our growing cardiology team serving the Douglasville community. This is a full-time, employed position with Wellstar Medical Group, offering a mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative responsibilities.

The ideal candidate is team-oriented, committed to clinical excellence and compassionate care, with access to advanced cardiac imaging and system-level resources.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Mix of outpatient clinic and inpatient consultative responsibilities.
• Call coverage shared within a collegial, experienced group.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, imaging specialists, interventionalists, and electrophysiologists.
