Wellstar Health System in Georgia seeks a board-certified/board-eligible General (Non-Invasive) Cardiologist to join the team at the new Wellstar Columbia County Hospital. You will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient cardiology services and interpret non-invasive studies.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient general cardiology services.
• Interpret non-invasive studies including echocardiography, stress testing, EKG, and Holter monitoring.
• Participate in hospital rounding and consults.
• Share call responsibilities with other cardiologists in the region.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including advanced practice providers, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists.
• Help build and shape the cardiology service line at a new, state-of-the-art hospital.
