Aligned Labs is seeking 10 Cardiology Experts for part-time, fully-remote work supporting frontier AI research. Projects start at $175–200 USD per hour.

You will evaluate and pressure-test AI models on expert-level cardiology knowledge and create board-level cardiology questions and clinical reasoning scenarios. Ideal candidates hold an MD with cardiology fellowship or board certification, or have 5+ years of clinical or research experience in cardiology areas.

This role includes evaluating and pressure-testing leading AI models on expert-level cardiology knowledge, creating and verifying board-level cardiology questions and clinical reasoning scenarios, and assessing whether AI-generated medical reasoning meets the standards of a trained cardiologist.

Who We're Looking For

You hold an MD (or equivalent) with board certification or fellowship training in Cardiology, or 5+ years of clinical or research experience in one or more of the following areas: General Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Heart Failure & Transplant, Structural Heart Disease, Preventive Cardiology, or Cardiac Imaging.

Ideal backgrounds include

• Practicing cardiologists at academic medical centers, health systems, or private practice
• Faculty and physician-scientists at accredited cardiology divisions or departments of medicine
• Research physicians at cardiovascular research institutes, clinical trial organizations, or the NIH
• Cardiologists in leadership roles at professional societies, quality improvement programs, or guideline committees
