The Baylor College of Medicine Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology program is expanding and seeks to add a staff cardiologist at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. The program is located at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center, home of the Texas Heart Institute. The successful applicant will join an experienced team of cardiologists and cardiothoracic surgeons at Baylor's nationally recognized heart failure program. They will staff the inpatient heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation services at Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center and practice in the Baylor Heart Clinic. Research and leadership opportunities are available, depending on experience and interest.
Applicants must have an M.D. degree, be ABIM board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and be board certified or board eligible in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Applicants must also qualify for a full and unrestricted Texas medical license. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated excellence in clinical cardiology, teaching and research.
