Summary

The Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a qualified Part-Time Anesthesiologist for Harris Health/Quentin Mease Locations. The candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-based anesthesia services to patients at various acuity levels.

Job Duties

• Collaborate with our Anesthesiology team to deliver anesthesia and pain care services across different settings.
• Provide direct patient care, administering inhaled, intravenous, neuraxial, and regional anesthesia for surgical or medical procedures.
• Assess and evaluate patients prior to anesthesia to develop appropriate anesthetic plans.
• Insert and monitor invasive and non-invasive devices as needed.
• Respond to emergency and code situations, ensuring airway management.
• Document all anesthetic procedures and patient conditions accurately.
• Participate in on-call duties and quality improvement initiatives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine degree with completed anesthesiology residency.
• Board certified or eligible in Anesthesiology.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and a strong performance record during residency.
• Enthusiasm for scholarly activities and ongoing education.
