Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateCardiologistto join our multidisciplinary team in delivering patient-centered, comprehensive cardiovascular care. The ideal candidate will share our passion for promoting heart health and preventive care within underserved and diverse communities. Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, treat, and manage a variety of cardiovascular conditions including hypertension, heart disease, and heart failure
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests
Develop personalized care plans and collaborate with primary care providers and specialists to ensure continuity of care
Provide patient education on lifestyle modifications, risk factor management, and long-term cardiac health
Participate in community health initiatives and screenings to raise awareness about cardiovascular wellness
Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR system in compliance with clinical guidelines and organizational policies
Support BMS’s integrative health model by working closely with behavioral health, nutrition, and social services teams
Requirements
Qualifications
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
Valid New York State medical license and DEA registration
Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to culturally competent care
Experience working in community health or underserved populations preferred
