Job summary

College Medical Center Long Beach is seeking a Per Diem Cardio Technician / Office Support to assist the Cardio department with diagnostic testing and clerical duties. The role includes performing ECGs, scheduling, and receptionist tasks in a fast-paced hospital setting.

CPR/BLS is required, and bilingual Spanish is preferred. Prior hospital/medical experience is a plus. This per diem position offers flexible hours and growth opportunities within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• EKG certification upon hire.
• Current CPR BLS for healthcare provider’s card upon hire.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• One year hospital and/or medical experience preferred.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties and responsibility related to clerical task skills and office coordinator medical terminology.
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age served on the unit.

We are searching for a Per Diem Cardio Technician / Office Support. This position performs diagnostic testing as ordered by physicians, according to established standards and practice. Supports the Cardio department as a resource to physicians and provides clerical and scheduling support and performs all receptionist / secretary duties.

Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors, including but not limited to relevant years of experience and qualifications. In addition to base pay, additional compensation may be available for College Medical Center roles, such as shift differentials and other special pay practices. The posted compensation for this position is a reasonable estimate that ranges from the lowest to the highest pay College Medical Center in good faith, believes it might pay for this job based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
