Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year acute care experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Current knowledge of age/type patient population served.
• Ability to complete professional education assignments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure patient safety during Cardiac Cath Lab procedures.
• Maintain communication with the physician and procedural staff.
• Stay updated on departmental and industry standards.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Customer service skills

Establish and maintain effective working relationships

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Graduate of an accredited RN program

Current California RN license

Tools

NIH Stroke Scale Certification
