Job summary

The Moslehi Lab at UCSF is seeking a Junior Specialist to advance projects on cardiovascular toxicities linked to cancer therapies. You will work with pre-clinical mouse models and cell-based systems to study immune-oncology–related cardiac effects.

You will gain hands-on experience with flow cytometry, western blotting, single-cell RNA sequencing, and bioinformatic analysis using Seurat/R, and may contribute to translational and clinical projects to inform cardio-oncology care.

Qualifications

• B.A. in biology or related topic, or equivalent research experience.
• Self-motivated and able to learn quickly.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members toward broader laboratory goals.
• Proven ability to manage time, work on multiple concurrent projects, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to conduct literature reviews and contribute to manuscript preparation or revision.
