Job summary

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family, seeks an administrative and technical support specialist for the cardiology lab in Houston. You will assist with EKGs, holter monitoring, stress testing and result coordination across multiple equipment platforms.

The role requires BLS/ALS certification, experience in a lab or clinical setting, familiarity with Marquette EKGs and treadmill systems, and basic computer skills. Flexibility for extended shifts is essential.

Qualifications

• BLS/ALS certification through American Heart Association.
• 6+ months of experience in an exercise testing laboratory, cardiac rehabilitation facility or corporate health setting.
• Experience with Marquette EKGs, treadmill control systems, and Holter monitor systems or similar.
• Basic computer, CRT and typing experience.
• Ability to work extended shifts as needed by Cardiology Lab Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the administrative and technical support for all procedures provided by the cardiology lab, including EKGs, Holter, stress testing and related coordination.
