Job summary

Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group, LLC seeks an ECG Technician to perform electrocardiograms in hospital settings, including ICU and pre-operative areas, and to assist physicians during stress tests while maintaining equipment and department cleanliness. You will label procedures, process reports, and support data entry across multiple monitoring modalities.

Responsibilities include Holter and EEG work, patient preparation, and routine equipment calibration.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• EKG certification preferred or equivalent work experience.
• BLS certification required or must obtain within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs EKGs (Adult & Pediatric) with proper 12-lead placement and labeling.
• Processes diagnostic reports and maintains the job log books.
• Assists with treadmill and stress test procedures for physicians.
• Processes and forwards orders and related face sheets to processing.
• Performs Holter hookup, recording, and lead placement as instructed.
• Conducts EEG exams with proper montage and technical details.
• Prepares EEG patients for electrode application and explains procedures.
• Maintains and calibrates EEG equipment; conducts daily inspections.
• Adapts EEG procedures to clinical circumstances and reduces interference.
• Extracts relevant info from patient records and asks clarifying questions.
