Job summary

Advocate South Suburban Hospital in the cardiovascular diagnostics unit seeks an RN for as-needed, part-time shifts in the Cardio Diagnostics/Stress Lab. Ideal candidates have a BSN preferred, BLS, and a year of clinical nursing experience in a fast-paced setting. Licensure valid for the state and multi-state privileges are expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state or single-state privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Engages in nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans with the care team.
• Maintain accurate EHR documentation and safety culture.
• Possibly float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Provide age-appropriate care and adhere to department policies.
