Job summary

Garfield County School District No.16 is seeking a part-time Before and After School Program Teacher for the Grand Valley Center for Family Learning. This Cardinal Club role supports students in the School Age Child Care program and requires CPR and First Aid training, with online trainings through the Colorado Department of Early Childhood.

Hours are Tue-Fri mornings and afternoons; supervising K–5 students, coordinating activities, and following district/Colorado guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Clear background check.
• CPR and First Aid training required; online trainings through Colorado Department of Early Childhood.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise students in grades K-5 in the afterschool program.
• Coordinate games and activities for students.
• Assist students with conflict resolution strategies.
• Ensure safe use of equipment and supplies.
• Communicate behavior concerns with parents/guardians and the Cardinal Club Director.
• Comply with CDEC regulations.
