Job summary

Chaparral Medical Group in Pomona, CA seeks an Echocardiography & Vascular Ultrasound Technician to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging and related testing. You will work with physicians and staff to deliver accurate, timely studies, ensuring compliance with California requirements and clinical protocols.

The role requires RDCS or RCS, RVT within timeframe, BLS certification, and 2+ years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-accredited or CAAHEP-accredited cardiovascular ultrasound or diagnostic medical sonography program.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience performing echocardiography and vascular ultrasound studies preferred.
• Current RDCS or RCS credential.
• Current RVT credential or ability to obtain within organization-defined timeframe.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform 2D, M-Mode, Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, and related cardiac imaging procedures.
• Obtain and document accurate diagnostic measurements and imaging data.
• Maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Prepare and organize reports, worksheets, and images for physician review.
• Utilize EMR and imaging systems to access and record diagnostic studies.
• Travel between clinic locations if needed.
