Job summary

Summit Health Management is seeking a skilled echocardiography technician to perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasound exams, including transthoracic and stress echoes. You will document findings, ensure patient safety, and maintain equipment while adhering to department protocols.

Applicants should hold RDCS or RCS certification with RVT additional preferred; strong English communication and interpersonal skills are essential for patient education and teamwork.

Qualifications

• RDCS from ARDMS or RCS from CCI is required.
• RVT certification is required.
• English communication skills required.
• Experience with cardiac ultrasound equipment and related tech preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive tests with ultrasound to acquire diagnostic echo images (transthoracic, stress, bubble/Definity studies).
• Report abnormalities to physicians promptly.
• Maintain patient safety and privacy; educate patients on procedures.
• Adhere to department protocols and document patient history in ProSolv or equivalent.
• Ensure equipment QC and routine maintenance; participate in emergency responses.
