NYU Langone Health in Palm Beach County, Florida is seeking a Cardiac & Vascular Sonographer (FGP) to join our busy imaging team.

You will perform comprehensive cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies, adhere to NYU protocols and IAC/ACR standards, and help ensure patient comfort.

Qualified candidates will hold RDCS/RVT or equivalent credentials and BLS, with ongoing opportunities for professional growth within an inclusive, patient-centered environment.

Competenze

• Associates Degree in a related field and completion of an accredited cardiac/vascular ultrasound program.
• RDCS/RVT or equivalent credentials with one cardiac and one vascular credential; eligible to obtain second credential within 1 year.
• BLS certification and active registry status.

Mansioni

• Performs all cardiac ultrasound studies including echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Performs vascular ultrasound studies including carotid and extremities duplex studies.
• Adheres to NYU protocols as well as IAC and ACR standards.
• Explains procedures to patients and maintains patient privacy.
• Creates preliminary reports and documents scans and data.
• Operates advanced ultrasound equipment and analyzes results.
• Alerts staff to abnormalities and supports accreditation efforts.
• May assist with lifting and moving patients/equipment.
