Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for each patient.
• Document nursing care accurately and timely.
• Administer medications safely and in accordance with standards.
• Transcribe or acknowledge doctor orders and execute as directed.
• Coordinate nursing activities with the care team to meet patient goals.
• Educate patients and families about disease, treatment, and discharge planning.
• Mentor and teach other healthcare team members.
