Job summary

The onsite role at 1575 Cambridge Street requires a 36-hour week with day shifts; MA RN license and BLS are required, and strong communication and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current license from the Massachusetts Board of Registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Effective verbal, electronic and written communications skills using the English language.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Maintain variable work schedule to meet department needs (evenings/nights/holidays/weekends).
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care according to the nursing process and plan of care.
• Delegate duties to other caregivers as needed and supervise accordingly.
• Document nursing care accurately and timely.
• Administer medications safely according to standards.
• Coordinate with care team to achieve patient goals.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and self-care.
• Engage in team conferences to meet department objectives.
