Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the 3West Cardiac Unit in Chattanooga, TN for a 13-week contract. The unit features a patient ratio of 6:1 and requires cardiac knowledge with advanced medication management.

The role involves bedside rounding, managing cardiac drips, chest tube and wound vac duties, EKGs, and telemetry documentation, with collaboration with PCTs to focus care. Active TN RN license, ACLS and BLS required.

Qualifications

• Active RN Licensure in the state (TN).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Cardiac knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct bedside and hourly rounding to ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Manage cardiac drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, and Amiodarone.
• Perform procedures such as chest tube management, wound vac management, and EKGs as required.
• Document telemetry applications and patient assessments accurately.
• Coordinate with PCTs on patient needs and departmental focus areas.
