Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Per Diem/PRN Ultrasound Technologist to operate imaging equipment and participate in patient care across Mercy facilities. The role emphasizes quality imaging, patient safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

We offer a base rate of $45.00 per hour with flexible scheduling, W-2 employment, and incentives for per diem staff. A graduate of an accredited sonography program with ARDMS/ARRT/CCI registrations and BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Sonography with required clinical hours.
• 1 year of relevant ultrasound experience.
• 2 applicable registries with ARDMS/ARRT/CCI and BLS.
• State licensure may be required depending on the state of practice.
• Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound imaging equipment and software to aid in diagnosis.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain high imaging quality.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
• Float between Mercy facilities as needed.
