Job summary

TouchPoint is hiring a Clinical Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary team serving cardiac transplant patients. The role combines inpatient critical care and outpatient follow-up to impact patients with complex cardiac needs.

As a qualified candidate, you will provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education for cardiac transplant patients, collaborating with a diverse team to improve outcomes. This is an on-site position in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Licensed or willing to obtain a licensure in the state of practice.
• Specialty certification when required.
• Two years of work experience in specialty preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in a designated specialty area to promote recovery and improve health outcomes.
• Educate patients, families, staff, and the community on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for sustainable long‑term wellness.
• Apply the latest research in alignment with diet manuals, company policies, and facility protocols to ensure high‑quality, consistent care.
• Contribute to Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement initiatives aimed at advancing patient care and clinical excellence.
• Partner with food service management to help achieve patient satisfaction and service goals.
• Support the growth of staff and dietetic interns through education and training.

Position Details

Become part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team serving patients in pre- and post‑cardiac transplant care. The role blends inpatient critical care and outpatient follow-up, providing a long‑term impact on patients with complex cardiac needs.

Compensation

Salary starts at $70,000, negotiable based on experience.

$2,500 sign‑on bonus + $5,000 relocation allowance. Annual coverage of CDR, AND and ASPEN dues.
