Job summary

St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Cardiac Thoracic ICU Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.

You will conduct comprehensive assessments, perform advanced nursing procedures, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive optimal patient outcomes. Shift options include 12-hour schedules with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2 or 1:1.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Licensed Registered Nurse in AZ (AZ RN).
• Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience.
• ACLS within 6 months; BLS-CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care for cardiac/ thoracic ICU patients.
• Perform priority assessments and skilled procedures; implement and update patient care plans.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Document nursing care plans and changes in patient condition in a timely manner; follow care standards.
