Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Telemetry Monitor Technician to continually observe cardiac rhythms, collect telemetry data, and promptly report arrhythmias to the care staff. You will support the RN, ensure accurate documentation, and help maintain monitoring equipment and safety standards.

Responsibilities include data collection, communication of rhythm changes, and participation in performance improvement activities while fostering effective teamwork and patient safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or higher.
• Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment, and knowledge of legal aspects and liability of nursing practice.
• Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.

Responsibilities

• Collect telemetry data and report ongoing telemetry data for each patient.
• Notify nursing units of arrhythmias per established procedures.
• Assist the RN in patient care and address monitor problems.
• Maintain complete, accurate, and timely documentation.
• Participate in unit performance improvements and data collection as requested.
