Job summary

The Cardiac Monitor Technician (CMT) at Trinity Health Livonia Campus provides continuous observation and interpretation of cardiac rhythms, monitors, reports arrhythmias to the RN, and maintains telemetry records. This part-time role supports central monitoring and patient care units, with a 7:00 am – 7:00 pm shift and every other weekend and 3 holidays per year.

High school diploma or equivalent required; ECG certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• ECG/Telemetry knowledge; ECG certification preferred.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias.
• Previous hospital Monitor Tech experience preferred.
• Computer proficiency and excellent customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Observe and interpret cardiac rhythms; report arrhythmias to the RN.
• Maintain telemetry records and the telemetry system.
• Monitor equipment in central monitoring and on patient care units.
