Job summary

St. Elizabeth HealthCare seeks a Telemetry Technician to monitor patient ECG rhythms in a centralized unit, interpret patterns, and respond to alarms. The role requires clear communication with nurses and physicians and accurate EHR documentation.

Non-exempt position with a 24-hour shift pattern (7PM–7AM). Starting pay is $19.40/hr plus shift differential for eligible shifts, with opportunities for growth and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• SEH/SEP ECG class with yearly exam and 85% minimum.
• Experience or ability to work in a fast-paced telemetry unit.

Responsibilities

• Monitor telemetry and interpret ECG rhythms.
• Document in Electronic Health Records accurately.
• Communicate rhythm changes to care team.
• Assist in orientation of new telemetry staff.
• Maintain alarms and respond to critical events.
