UCM in Illinois seeks a Cardiac Telemetry Technician (CTT) to monitor ECG tracings, document rhythms and promptly report changes to the supervising nurse. You will work in the Telemetry Hub on the Day shift, under RN direction, ensuring accurate data entry and timely alarm management.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, current BLS, basic computer skills, and completion of the University of Chicago ECG course with validation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Also requires current BLS certification.
• Basic computer experience with web apps and MS Office.
• Upon hire, completion of University of Chicago ECG course and validation.

Responsabilités

• Continuous monitoring and documentation of ECG tracings.
• Recognizes and reports arrhythmias to supervising RN.
• Enter patient data into arrhythmia system.
• Set alarm limits per guidelines.
• Admit/ discharge patient to monitoring per policy.
• Maintain equipment logs and troubleshoot.
