Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs continuous EKG monitoring and interpretation for patients on telemetry.
• Observes and documents EKG rhythms from telemetry monitors.
• Notifies staff of changes in heart rate or rhythm promptly.
• Maintains and prepares telemetry equipment and leads wires as needed.
• Assists in emergencies and operational duties on the unit.
• Provides orientation and support to new unit personnel on monitoring systems.
