Qualifications

• Basic cardiac dysrhythmia training or successful completion of a cardiac dysrhythmia training course upon hire.
• CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Act 34, Act 33, and Act 73 Clearance Certificates (criminal background).

Responsibilities

• Accurately analyze, interpret, and record ECG rhythms according to procedure.
• Maintain continuous assessment of ECG rhythm at central monitor and during patient transport.
• Clean and maintain telemetry monitors/holders and account for monitor upon patient discharge.
• Demonstrate knowledge of central station and bedside monitors; ensure alarms are maintained.
• Perform unit‑specific duties such as video monitoring, order entry, and answering phones.
