Qualifications

• Passing score of 80% or higher of UTMB’s arrhythmia test.

Responsibilities

• Operates and troubleshoots all functions of the telemetry monitoring system and admissions/transfers/discharges per unit standards.
• Interprets and reviews EKG rhythms and recognizes significant events; communicates findings promptly to the RN.
• Provides daily quality checks of monitoring equipment and maintains logs for monitored patients.
