Job summary

Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL, is seeking a full-time Patient Care Technician to join our team. The role involves night shifts, potential overtime, and coverage across multiple patient care areas.

You will contribute to high-quality patient care while supporting intra-hospital teamwork and efficient operations. Requirements include completion of a formal CNA program with Florida CNA certification and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have completed a formal CNA training program and hold Florida CNA certification.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and understand medical terminology.
• Excellent communication skills to relate to patients and colleagues.
• Must be willing to cross-train / float to cover shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient care tasks and related services in the clinical area.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythm strips as needed.
• Greet patients, assist with front-desk duties, and support ADT/patient flow.
