Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a Telemetry Technician to monitor cardiac patients and interpret rhythms. You will report changes to nursing staff, maintain telemetry supplies, and document patient conditions using computerized systems.

Expect to orient and mentor new staff while following Standard Precautions. PCT experience in a hospital setting and BCLS certification are preferred/required within stated timelines.

Competenze

• Requires interpretation of rhythms and arrhythmias.
• Must be able to pass Rhythms and Arrhythmias exam.
• Telemetry experience preferred.
• PCT experience within a hospital setting required.

Mansioni

• Interpret Rhythms and Arrhythmias.
• Report all changes in heart rate/rhythm to appropriate nursing staff.
• Maintain Telemetry Supplies.
• Record patient condition utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Perform duties with full understanding of age-specific factors.
• Orient and mentor new staff members.
• Follow Standard Precautions using PPE as required.
