Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of an arrhythmia course with testing.
• Competency in operating telemetry monitoring equipment.
• Healthcare experience such as EKG tech, MA, EMT, CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitors and identifies normal and abnormal cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment.
• Responds to alarm conditions and notifies staff for timely intervention.
• Maintains and troubleshoots cardiac monitoring devices for reliable function.
• Documents rhythm findings and equipment status in patient records.
• Ensures proper electrode placement and signal quality for accurate data.
