Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Jackson, Michigan is seeking a detail-oriented Cardiac Arrhythmia Tech to monitor and analyze telemetry data for multiple patients during the night shift. You will interpret rhythms, report arrhythmias, maintain records, respond to alarms, operate telemetry equipment, and collaborate with nurses and physicians to support patient safety and quality care.

Qualifications

Proven experience in cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia recognition.
Strong knowledge of EKG/ECG interpretation.
Proficiency with telemetry monitoring systems and EHR.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently at night.
CCMT or ACLS certification preferred.
Preferred: ICU or acute care experience.

Responsibilities

Monitor and analyze cardiac telemetry data for multiple patients, identifying arrhythmias.
Interpret rhythms such as sinus rhythm, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia.
Maintain accurate monitoring records and document significant events.
Respond promptly to alarms and communicate findings to the clinical team.
Operate and troubleshoot telemetry equipment and ensure patient connections.
Collaborate with nurses and physicians to support patient care decisions.
Adhere to hospital safety protocols during night shifts.
Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
