Job summary

Qualifications

• Dysrhythmia recognition and regular rhythm interpretation are required.
• ECG testing will be completed prior to job offer.
• Orientation includes an internal online course and periodic competency assessments.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association is required.
• HS diploma/GED and Medical Terminology course preferred.
• Hospital exposure of at least 6 months is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring and arrhythmia detection via the Central Monitoring system.
• Carry out department clerical duties as part of the role.
• Work 12-hour day shifts as part of a full-time schedule.
